To take advantage of its south-facing corner lot and deep front setback, the home on Krameria is sited toward the north and rear of the lot and the main exterior space - and the majority of the windows - are on the south side of the house. Known as "passive solar", the deep overhangs on the south and west of the home help block the high summer sun and allow in the low winter sun. Those overhangs also protect the large bi-folding window unit that sits on the kitchen counters and acts as a pass-through to the patio - great for indoor/outdoor entertaining.
