The home on Locust in Park Hill was a complete gut and remodel - with addition - of a stylish brick ranch that had great curb appeal but stood to be updated. Built in 1941 and renovated piecemeal over the years, the home no longer had a cohesive design theme and needed plumbing, electrical, HVAC and energy-efficiency modernization. What we didn't completely tear out, we completely restored, and in the process added on a large master suite and a new back patio with a pergola and firepit. In the end, it's the best of both worlds - still charming, but new where it was needed.
